The agreement regulates the conditions and mechanisms for establishing tariff quotas on agricultural and other imports from third countries to the common customs area with the aim of encouraging agricultural production, meeting demand for agricultural products, and facilitating development of international trade in customs union participant countries.
The agreement was signed in Moscow on December 12, 2008.
