Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko at the Belarusian side’s initiative.
Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko discussed aspects of developing Russian-Belarusian ties and cooperation within the Union State. They reviewed issues related to the supply of Russian oil and gas to Belarus, and agreed to continue talks on this topic via economic entities of the two countries.
The presidents also agreed on further contacts.
