The President will attend an informal multilateral summit, which will be preceded by a separate meeting of the heads of state of the three countries in the EurAsEC Customs Union (Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan) in accordance with an agreement reached at a meeting of the Customs Union’s supreme body on November 27, 2009, in Minsk.
The visit is at the invitation of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
