Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Awarding the Honorary Title of the Russian Federation City of Labour Glory.
As per the Executive Order, the honorary title of the Russian Federation City of Labour Glory was conferred on the cities of Borovichi, Chelyabinsk, Irkutsk, Ivanovo, Izhevsk, Kazan, Magnitogorsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Nizhny Tagil, Novokuznetsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Perm, Samara, Saratov, Tomsk, Ufa, Ulyanovsk, Yaroslavl and Yekaterinburg for the considerable contribution of their residents to Victory in the 1941–1945 Great Patriotic War, for ensuring the uninterrupted production of military and civilian equipment by industrial enterprises, and large-scale labour heroism and dedication displayed in the process.
