Greetings on opening of 11th North Caucasus Youth Forum Mashuk

August 10, 2020

Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and organisers of the 11th North Caucasus Youth Educational Forum Mashuk.

The message reads, in part:

“Having marked its tenth anniversary last year, your forum continues to strengthen its high standing as one of the leading educational platforms in the North Caucasus and a recognised centre for creative and friendly exchanges among enthusiastic, energetic young people from different regions of our country.

It is important that this summer, despite the difficult epidemiological situation, young men and women will be able to hold constructive online discussions with prominent politicians, experts, scientists, and their mentors, and discuss topics they are concerned about, attend training seminars and professional evaluations. Moreover, the digital format will significantly expand the number of participants and the geography of the forum.

I am sure that its rich agenda and vigorous interaction with the organisers of the event and your peers will help you increase your competence and will open up new opportunities for self-realisation and progress.”

The 11th North Caucasus Youth Educational Forum, Mashuk-2020, will be held August 10–26, remotely. As many as 4,000 people will participate in three sessions. The first session, Global Challenges, will be devoted to current problems in various public spheres; National Code will involve discussion of the media sphere, Russia’s historical role, international and intercultural exchanges; and the Workshop of Communities session will include discussions of problems in politics, public administration, services and tourism.
