Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants, organisers and guests of the XXII April International Academic Conference on Economic and Social Development, organised by the National Research Institute Higher School of Economics.
The message reads, in part:
“Your traditional forum that brings together prominent scientists, experts, government officials and business circles’ representatives is a significant event in the academic and social life of Russia and other states. It always takes place in a creative and constructive manner and enables the participants to discuss topical modern problems at a high professional level. You focus on the development of state and public institutions, the state and prospects of the national and global economies, and the social sector. And, of course, open discussions, plenary sessions and roundtable discussions prioritise the search for new approaches to addressing the high-priority tasks now facing this country.
I am confident that the conference will facilitate the exchange of experience and knowledge, that it will help strengthen international humanitarian cooperation, and that your proposals and recommendations will serve as an impetus for a more profound and detailed assessment of the situation in the economy, social and public relations.”
