Vladimir Putin extended his condolences to the family and friends of television journalist Anatoly Lysenko on his passing.
The message reads, in part:
“It is with deep sadness that I learned of the passing of Anatoly Lysenko, a bright and extraordinary person and a brilliant professional. His colleagues and many students immensely respected and loved Mr Lysenko for his creative daring, his goodness and generosity. He always worked with great dedication and genuine devotion to the cause, was a centre of attraction for young talented journalists, with whom he openly shared his knowledge, ideas and plans.”
Television journalist, Director General of Public Television of Russia (OTR) Anatoly Lysenko died at the age of 84.
