The studies you have conducted helped develop the mineral resources base in our nation – first and foremost, allowing us to discover major uranium deposits.

You are an active participant in the international environmental movement and you devote a great deal of attention to defending the environment from radioactive contamination. Your theoretical works on safely disposing of nuclear waste and on countering climate change also serve these goals.”
