The results of new anti-monopoly legislation were among the subjects discussed.
Mr Artemyev briefed President Medvedev on how the new package of laws is operating, including with regards to the fight against inflated prices on the domestic oil market and the regulation of public contracts, and also described how electronic auctions contribute to the fight against corruption.
Igor Artemyev asked Mr Medvedev to consider providing material incentives to officials who seek to increase budgetary savings.
