The Federal Law was adopted by the State Duma and approved by the Federation Council on February 22, 2022.

Article 1
Ratifying the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Between the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People’s Republic, which was signed in Moscow on February 21, 2022.
Article 2
This Federal Law shall go into effect on the day of its official publication.

The Federal Law envisages the ratification of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance Between the Russian Federation and the Donetsk People’s Republic, signed in Moscow on February 21, 2022.
The Federal Law was submitted to the State Duma by the President of the Russian Federation.
The Treaty reaffirms the policy of the Russian Federation to develop comprehensive, forward-looking cooperation with the Donetsk People’s Republic.
The Treaty provides for broad cooperation in the political, economic, social, military and humanitarian areas.
