In his telegram the President noted, in particular, that the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia is “rightfully considered one of the country’s leading universities, providing not only high-quality education, but also cultivating respect and interest for different cultures.

The university has produced tens of thousands of graduates working now in 170 different countries and helping to strengthen these countries’ friendly ties and mutually advantageous cooperation with Russia.

I hope that productive research and educational work will continue to be your university’s calling card,” the President said.
