Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants in the Ninth Russia-Kyrgyzstan Interregional Conference.
The message reads, in part:
“Your regular meetings with representatives from the central and local authorities, public organisations, businesses, expert communities and the media provide a good opportunity to exchange experience and discuss many current issues in bilateral cooperation.
Relations between our states continue to develop in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. An important and traditional component is interregional cooperation, part of which includes joint projects that are successfully developed and implemented in trade, economic, social, education, cultural, scientific, technological and many other areas.
As usual, your conference agenda is very busy. I know that you will hold productive and constructive discussions and will put forward new and interesting ideas and proposals that will further expand the multifaceted ties between Russia and Kyrgyzstan, as well as promote mutually beneficial integration in the Eurasian space.”
