Vladimir Putin congratulated members of Team Russia Galiya Sharafetdinova, Ivan Bakharev, Maxim Turevsky, Taisiya Korotchenko, Roman Kuznetsov and Denis Mustafin on their excellent performance at the 63rd International Mathematics Olympiad.
The message reads, in part:
“I am sincerely happy that Russian schoolchildren have displayed such brilliant preparation, team spirit, and a commitment to win. They have convincingly reaffirmed the high quality of mathematical education in Russia. The medals you have won are a well-earned award for your talent, perseverance, hard work, and commitment. It is also a great gift for your coaches, tutors, parents – all those who have supported you on your way to success.”
