Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 6th Chersonese International Opera and Ballet Festival held in Crimea from August 3 to 7.
The message reads, in part:
“It is gratifying that your wonderful project has found a home at the Chersonesos Taurica Museum Reserve, while the historic landmarks of the ancient city have served as a spectacular backdrop for classical opera and ballet performances for several years.
I believe that the current festival programme will fully meet the expectations of the most sophisticated audiences, and will give everyone the joy of seeing real art, leaving vivid and unforgettable memories.”
