Vladimir Putin sent a message to Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan congratulating him on Armenia's national holiday, Independence Day.
The message reads, in part:
”We attach great importance to friendly, allied relations with Armenia. It is important that our countries successfully cooperate in a variety of areas, coordinate efforts within the EAEU, CSTO, CIS and other multilateral entities.
I am sure that further build-up of the whole range of constructive bilateral ties is in the fundamental interests of the Russian and Armenian peoples, and that the consistent implementation of the trilateral agreements signed in 2020 and 2021 will be a good basis for long-term peace and security in the South Caucasus.”
