Vladimir Putin approved a list of instructions on providing support to citizens mobilised for military service and their families.
The Defence Ministry and the Finance Ministry were instructed to establish the amount of allowances and other payments for mobilised personnel, based on the guaranteed minimum of at least 195,000 rubles per calendar month, from the date of enlistment, including the period of training and education.
The Russian Government, together with the Defence Ministry, was instructed to ensure that citizens mobilised for military service receive timely allowances and individual payments.
The Government was also instructed to provide appropriate budget allocations.
Instructions to the top officials in Russian regions concern the accommodation, training and education of mobilised citizens, material and technical support for these citizens and relevant military formations, as well as social support measures for the families of citizens mobilised for military service.
