Vladimir Putin signed the Executive Order On Conferring the Russian Federation’s Honorary Title of City of Military Glory on the city of Melitopol.
Under this Executive Order, the honorary title of the Russian Federation, City of Military Glory, has been conferred on the city of Melitopol for the valour, endurance and wide spread heroism displayed by the defenders of the city in their struggle for the freedom and independence of their Fatherland.
