Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to current and former employees of Rosatom on the state nuclear corporation’s 15th anniversary.
The message reads, in part:
“Russia’s nuclear industry has come a long way over the past 15 years. A vertically integrated corporation has emerged, managing a full cycle of nuclear energy-related competencies from uranium mining to building and operating nuclear power plants. The nuclear power generation figures have grown significantly, with new reactor units built, including the ones abroad.
Rosatom consistently prioritises large and far-reaching programmes in science, nuclear medicine and environmental research, in shipbuilding and aircraft building, as well as digital technology. The company is putting significant effort towards the economic development of the Arctic and the Northern Sea Route. And of course, the nuclear industry is making a truly unique contribution to ensuring nuclear parity and Russia’s defence capability.
I am sure that you will continue to work with dedication and responsibility and will effectively attain your goals for the benefit of our Fatherland.”
