Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants and guests of the main board meeting of the Brothers-in-Arms All-Russian Public Organisation of Veterans and congratulated them on the 25th anniversary of the organisation which unites members of the Armed Forces, Interior Ministry, the Federal Security Service and other agencies.
The message reads, in part:
“Your organisation, which was founded in 1997, has come a long way, gained a high reputation and great respect. It is gratifying that in your efforts you give top priority to rendering social and legal aid to fellow servicemen and their families, preserving the memory of acts of courage by your heroic comrades-in-arms, instilling patriotic, spiritual and moral values in young people, introducing young men and women to the traditions of selfless devotion to our Fatherland. I would also like to highlight your extensive, much-needed work aimed at supporting our soldiers taking part in the special military operation, and establishment of regional branches of the Volunteer Company of Brothers-in-Arms.”
