Vladimir Putin sent his deep condolences over the passing of theatre and film actress Inna Churikova.
The message reads, in part:
“The death of Inna Churikova, a great actress loved by the entire nation, is a huge loss for all of us.
Her outstanding roles both on the Lenkom Theatre stage and on screen are an example of true art, inspiration and immense dedication.”
People’s Artist of the USSR Inna Churikova died on January 14 at the age of 79.
