Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the staff of the Za Rulyom (Behind the Wheel) magazine on its 95th anniversary.
The message reads, in part:

Founded in 1928, it has brought together motor vehicle enthusiasts across the country and has grown into one of the largest and most respected specialised media outlets. The vivid articles written by its talented team and friendly writers contributed to the development of the motor transport industry, the promotion of a driver code of behaviour and road safety.
As in past years, the current generation of its readers appreciate the magazine for its respectful and caring attitude to traditions, for current news and analytics, interesting reports and interviews. And of course, it is important that you are effectively introducing modern technologies, engaging the widest audience, internet users and social media, with the automotive agenda.”
