Vladimir Putin sent greetings to participants and guests of the fifth BraVo International Professional Music Awards ceremony.
The message reads, in part:
“Today, brilliant, unique and gifted performers – singers, musicians and ballet dancers from Russia and other states – are being honoured on the famous Historical Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre. Colleagues, authoritative representatives of modern culture and, most importantly, numerous admirers of classical art have noted your success. It is precisely the acclaim of audiences, spectators and the opinion of the exacting public that formed the basis of this competition and made this project truly unique and highly popular. It is gaining international acclaim and recognition with every passing year.
It is gratifying that the project is marking its fifth anniversary with significant achievements and the expansion of its geographical boundaries. This time, representatives of South America are among the recipients. I would like to note that talented artists from new Russian regions are also taking part in the competition.
I am confident that your project will continue to make a weighty contribution to promoting musical and dance art, to strengthening humanitarian ties between nations, and uniting people on the basis of creativity, openness and mutual respect.”
