Vladimir Putin sent a message of condolences to the family and friends of President of the National Association of Broadcasters Eduard Sagalayev.
The message reads, in part:
“Eduard Sagalayev was a legend and true luminary of domestic television, a creative and talented man, open to communication. He always cared sincerely for the cause and worked enthusiastically, with full dedication, serving the model of supreme professionalism and loyalty to his vocation.”
Eduard Sagalayev, a prominent Russian journalist, member of the Academy of Russian Television, Honoured Journalist of Russia, winner of the USSR State Prize, passed away on May 13 at the age of 76.
