Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 10th awards ceremony for the winners of Warm Heart, a Russian national social and public initiative with international involvement.
The message reads, in part:
“The patriotic, spiritual and moral education of the young generation deserves to be among our important national priorities. It is good that these enormous and much-needed efforts are facilitated by this type of ambitious and in-demand social and public projects, one of which is, of course, your initiative. For ten years, it has been fulfilling an important and noble mission, which is to support courageous, thoughtful and compassionate young people who are coping with difficult situations in life with perseverance, providing unselfish assistance to veterans and everyone who needs care and attention.
Of course, my special thanks go to the parents, teachers and mentors of the young winners, to everyone who helps them achieve the set objectives and teaches them to have respect for such perpetual values as friendship, integrity, mutual help and an honest, conscientious attitude to what they are doing.”
