Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 10th (29th) National Congress of Endocrinologists: Personalised Medicine and Practical Healthcare.
The message reads, in part:
“I consider it important that the Russian Association of Endocrinologists traditionally brings together in Moscow practitioners, leading researchers, endocrinologists, including children’s, and geneticists from all regions of our country and a number of foreign countries. Your meetings make it possible to discuss at a high expert level a wide range of topical issues that require priority attention, coordinate approaches and exchange experience.
Today, domestic healthcare is undergoing a period of fundamental changes associated with the development of modern, innovative technology, impressive results of scientific research and the advancement of personalised medicine. These achievements allow you to make significant progress in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of endocrine diseases and greatly improve the quality and availability of specialised medical care.
I am confident that the congress will be successful, as always, and its decisions and recommendations will contribute to the consolidation of your professional community, active implementation of advanced medical practices and improvement of the work of the Russian endocrinological service.”
