Vladimir Putin visited the Victory Museum on Poklonnaya Hill.
Vladimir Putin, accompanied by Victory Museum Director Alexander Shkolnik, examined the multimedia space dedicated to the Faces of Victory nationwide historical project, a database of frontline and home front veterans given to the museum for eternal storage.
The President lit a candle at the Grieving Mother monument, a collective image of all women of the war generation mourning their dead husbands, children and parents.
Next, Vladimir Putin inspected the Testaments of Faith exposition about the real fates of heroes in the Great Patriotic War and the special military operation, designed to reflect the enduring value of courage, selflessness and love for the Motherland.
The visit to the museum concluded with a tour of the Battle of Moscow: First Victory! historical and artistic exposition, which is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow and includes three-dimensional interactive panoramas and multimedia complexes. Its nine thematic sections, covering 1,200 square metres, recreate the scenery of the capital during the war.
