The head of state has been informed about all events around Yevgeny Prigozhin. The necessary measures are underway.

Security services and law enforcement agencies, including the Ministry of Defence, the Federal Security Service and the Interior Ministry, are reporting to the President round the clock on the measures being taken as regards the implementation of the previously issued instructions.

Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov reported to Vladimir Putin on opening a criminal case in connection with the attempt to lead an armed mutiny, as well as on the legitimacy of initiating such a case.
