“Over time, the forum has become a point of attraction and consolidation for talented, enterprising and purpose-oriented young men and women from different regions across Russia. I am pleased to note that some experienced ‘islanders’ have come to Sakhalin along with new participants. The forum has helped many of you choose your professions, find true friends and like-minded people, and, most importantly, make a personal contribution to important projects aimed at accomplishing priorities in the development of the Russian Far East and other Russian regions.

I am confident that your forum will be a success this year, while its packed business and cultural programme will promote an open and informal discussion of a wide range of current issues that are of concern for young people.”
