Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 7th Chersonese International Opera and Ballet Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“I am sincerely glad that your wonderful project is gaining creative momentum every year and is rightfully considered one of the most exciting and significant events in the cultural life not only of the city of Sevastopol and the Republic of Crimea but of the whole country. The festival is traditionally famous for its top-class participants, it delights the audience with a rich concert programme, and gives them the opportunity to fully experience the special atmosphere and energy of unique historical landscapes, get acquainted with classical ballet and theatre art, and enjoy wonderful music.
