The Governor briefed the President on measures of social support for veterans and the implementation of a programme to provide them with housing.

The President emphasised the need to focus not only on material support for veterans, but also on their everyday problems, which often do not require significant financial resources to be resolved. This applies especially to veterans living in private houses, including in rural areas. Relevant instructions should be given to the heads of all districts, villages and cities in the region.
