Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to the participants, organisers and guests the 21st National Congress of Commissioners for Children’s Rights from Russian regions.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the years, the system of child rights ombudsmen has gained respect and popularity for being effective and responsive to the needs of society, parents, motherhood and childhood specialists and of course, to the most urgent and sensitive problems of the country's underage citizens. Your multifaceted efforts contribute to the strengthening of traditional values and implementation of big and significant projects aimed at improving the quality of life of families with children, protecting the rights and interests of the younger generation, improving the relevant legal framework and law enforcement practice. I would like to emphasise that today, it is extremely important to continue systematic work in Russia’s new regions.”
