Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the current staff and veterans of the Federal Taxation Service on their professional holiday, Tax Authority Worker’s Day.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the years, the Russian Federal Taxation Service has significantly improved its potential and its professional and personnel resources, emerging as a modern and powerful agency, operating across an extensive area. It provides an example of successful, efficient work. The Service’s employees take a responsible approach towards dealing with serious, multifaceted tasks, introduce innovative technologies and the best Russian and global practices on a wide scale, pay constant attention to improving administrative procedures, and set high standards in terms of providing public services to people and businesses.
I want to emphasise that it is important not to slow down, but to achieve the goals set, because the results of your work contribute to sustainable budget revenues at all levels, the implementation of major, much needed social programmes, and the creation of favourable conditions for strengthening the economy and increasing business activity.
I am sure that you will continue to commendably fulfil your duties and honourably deal with all tasks.”
