In Nizhny Tagil, Vladimir Putin visited one of the oldest educational institutions in the city, secondary school No. 32 featuring in-depth study of foreign languages.
Built in 1936, the school re-opened in January after major renovations. It is known for its distinguished graduate, poet Bulat Okudzhava.
As part of the renovation, classrooms received up-to-date equipment, and robotics and digital laboratories were created for related courses. The overhaul was financed by the Improving School Education Systems programme.
Accompanied by principal Galina Maslikova, Vladimir Putin toured the auditorium and gyms, the dining hall, and classrooms for chemistry, biology, physics, and the fundamentals of security and defence of the Motherland.
