Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 46th Moscow International Film Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“This forum rightly enjoys the reputation of a major and truly festive event in the country’s cultural life. Its noble mission brings together both renowned masters of filmmaking and those who are just beginning their journey in this art. The festival provides young talented directors, actors, screenwriters, and artists with an excellent opportunity to present their first creative works to a reputable jury.
I believe that, with its diverse competition programme and the iconic traditions of hospitality and warmth, the festival will be held in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding. It will contribute to fostering professional, business, and personal connections, and promoting the latest accomplishments in the filmmaking art.”
