The New Uzbekistan Park, spanning 104 hectares in area, is the largest recreational park in Uzbekistan. It was built at the initiative of Shavkat Mirziyoyev and inaugurated on August 31, 2021, in celebration of the Republic’s 30th anniversary of independence. The park is designed to resemble a tree with five branches, symbolising priority areas in the Strategy of Actions for the further development of Uzbekistan.
