The President of Russia took part in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum in Ba Dinh Square.
The mausoleum was opened to visitors in September 1975. It is a two-story building made of grey marble, with a transparent sarcophagus containing the body of Vietnam's first President on the first floor. The mausoleum was designed and built with the assistance of Soviet specialists.
