President Vladimir Putin sent greetings to members of the Russian national school team who competed in the 10th European Geography Olympiad in Belgrade, Serbia.
The message reads, in part:
“You scored impressive results during these prestigious competitions, displayed substantial knowledge and real teamwork. Your achievements reaffirm the prestige of the national education system and the impressive potential of our talented young people.
“Of course, the work of educators and mentors, as well as the unwavering support of parents who sincerely believe in you, your abilities and aspirations, deserves gratitude and acclaim.”
