Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to Head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania Sergei Menyailo and residents of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, as well as the participants and guests of the celebrations on the 100th anniversary of the North Ossetia Autonomous Region.
The message reads, in part:
“This anniversary is an excellent reason to recall the history of your ancient and beautiful land and note the significant contribution that the peoples living here made to preserve the rich, original culture of our multiethnic country. Of course, цe must also remember your distinguished countrymen − brave warriors and skilled craftsmen, outstanding scientists and writers, musicians and artists, and public figures who made this land famous with their military and creative work.
It is great that the people living in the republic treat their fatherly behests and traditions with deep respect and take an active part in solving important national tasks and implementing major economic, social, tourism, and transport projects.”
