Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to participants in the opening ceremony of the Tavrida.ART multinational youth art festival.
The message reads, in part:
“You have come to Crimea from all over our vast country. Your forum is developing as a popular platform for talented and energetic young people to engage in business and friendly communication. I am glad that in this Year of the Family your festival will focus on moral education and the role of the family in strengthening the cohesion of our society.
Young artists, architects, actors and members of other creative professions will enjoy the festival’s diverse programme, which includes lectures, workshops, fairs, exhibitions, theatre performances and concerts, and an opportunity to learn more about the culture, indigenous traditions and customs of the peoples of Russia. You will also meet with prominent politicians, public figures, and stage and cinema stars.
I have no doubt that your forum will promote the professional development of its young participants and help them realise their potential and find kindred souls.”
