Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory telegram to President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the occasion of the national holiday – Independence Day.
The message reads, in part:
“Relations between our states are progressively developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance. Russia and Tajikistan fruitfully cooperate in a variety of areas and are active in their interaction within the CIS, CSTO, SCO, UN and other multilateral organisations.
I believe that through joint efforts we will ensure further buildup of the entire range of constructive Russian-Tajikistan ties. This is undoubtedly in the fundamental interests of our friendly peoples and in line with strengthening security and stability in Central Asia.”
