Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to Head of the Republic of Tyva Vladislav Khovalyg and the people of the Republic of Tyva on the 80th anniversary of the voluntary accession of the Tyva People's Republic to the USSR.
The message reads, in part:
”This event marks a significant milestone in the history of the republic, contributing to the socioeconomic development of the region and the preservation of its unique cultural and spiritual heritage.
Today, the Republic of Tyva confidently embraces the future. It is home to talented, hard-working, and hospitable people who hold great respect for the unique traditions and customs of their ancestors, the invaluable natural resources of their homeland, and who, with their active energy and determination, contribute to the realisation of key national objectives for the benefit of the republic and all of Russia.“
