Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 15th White Cane International Charity Festival.
The message reads, in part:
“Over the time, this wonderful project has gained wide public support while its high aims brought together sincere and empathic people from various countries. They honourably carry on centuries-old traditions of charity and selflessness by helping visually impaired children from Russia and the Commonwealth countries to discover their talents and capabilities.
In this regard, I would like to note the fruitful and highly necessary work of The Answering the Call of the Heart Charity Foundation and its founder and inspirer, Diana Gurtskaya. The foundation’s projects, including the White Cane festival, leave boys and girls with a lot of bright and unforgettable memories, help them believe in themselves, make friends, and succeed in arts.”
