Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants in the closing ceremony for the finals of the Bolshaya Peremena national contest for 8–10 grade students, which is taking place at the Artek International Children’s Centre.
The message reads, in part:
“The finals brought together striking, talented, and ambitious young people from across the country. You are eager to learn, ready to grow, and determined to excel in a field you love, all while using your skills to benefit others and make a positive impact on the world around you.
This year, over three million participants joined the competition, marking its fifth edition. In total, more than six million students from schools, colleges, and technical schools have tested their abilities and become part of a vast family of like-minded peers.
The competition has emerged as the flagship and largest initiative of the Movement of the First. It has fostered a genuine community around the Bolshaya Peremena, bringing together both children and adults. This community is built on values that resonate deeply with all of us: mutual assistance and support, creative endeavours, love for our homeland, and respect for its history and traditions.
I understand that this season’s competition tasks were centred around the Year of the Family. It is essential and commendable to nurture and strengthen the bonds between generations, aiming to build upon the legacy created by our ancestors through your actions and achievements. I am confident that you and your peers will find success, leading to victories and accomplishments that you can take pride in.
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to your teachers and mentors for their wisdom, patience, and genuine dedication. I wish every one of you to find your calling among the many opportunities and paths available, pursuing a passion that truly inspires you.”
