Vladimir Putin sent his greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the ceremony for presenting the fifth Pride of the Nation Russian national award for personal contribution to the ethnocultural development and promotion of the unity of the peoples of Russia.
The message reads, in part:
“This prestigious award, established in 2020 by the Assembly of the Peoples of Russia, is traditionally presented to active, talented, and caring individuals whose responsible civic position and creative, constructive contribution to the future of the Fatherland deserve the highest recognition. The award winners represent a diverse range of professions, ages, and generations, including Heroes of Russia and Heroes of Labour, participants in the special military operation, and leaders of significant humanitarian, volunteer, charity projects aimed at preserving the rich historical and spiritual heritage and ethnocultural diversity of the peoples of Russia, as well as fostering interethnic peace and accord. Their extensive and vital work constitutes an important contribution to the implementation of state national policy and to the development of a fruitful dialogue between government bodies and civil society institutions.”
