Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the staff of Sputnik international news agency and radio station on the 10th anniversary of launching its work.
The message reads, in part:
“All these years, your staff at the central office and multiple foreign offices have fulfilled their professional duties in a high-quality manner, quickly and responsibly. They cover the most important events, share authentic news and in-depth analytical stories with their audiences, and they always rely on authenticated and objective facts. I would like to note that they give a platform to people with different viewpoints regarding political, economic and social trends in Russia and abroad.”
