Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the current and retired employees of the Kirov subsidiary of Apatit shareholding company on the 95th anniversary of the enterprise, a recognised leader in the domestic and global mining industry.
The message reads, in part:
“You are rightfully proud of your enterprise’s history and the numerous generations of scientists, miners, chemists, production managers and specialists whose selfless work made a substantial contribution to strengthening the country’s industrial and agricultural potential and facilitating its food security.
I am pleased to note that the current staff members carry on the wonderful traditions of the ore mining and processing works’ veterans and recognise the great importance of their work. You continue to expand ore enrichment capacities without slackening your pace, develop the ore and raw materials potential, introduce modern environmental standards and take part in training skilled personnel. Furthermore, the company has an impeccable business reputation and sets an example of high social responsibility.
