Vladimir Putin congratulated Alisa Freindlikh, stage and cinema actress, People’s Artist of the USSR, winner of the State Prize of the Russian Federation, on her 90th birthday.
The message reads, in part:
“It is not an overstatement to say that you, a wonderful actress and true legend of theatre and cinema, are loved by millions of spectators in Russia and beyond. Over the years of your creative work, you have made a great, invaluable contribution to Russian art and created a galaxy of brilliant, talented and original works, each of which is acknowledged as the gold standard of the highest stagecraft and unwavering commitment to your profession.”
