Vladimir Putin congratulated the staff and veterans of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation on the Day of the Investigative Committee’s establishment as an independent federal state agency.
The message reads, in part:
“Over recent years, the Investigative Committee has demonstrated its efficacy and has emerged as a pivotal component within the national law enforcement system. You stand at the vanguard of the battle against crime and corruption, safeguarding the rights and freedoms of Russian citizens and steadfastly upholding the interests of the state.
Challenging and responsible tasks have been entrusted to the personnel of the Investigative Committee in connection with the special military operation. Alongside colleagues from other relevant agencies, you are making a substantial contribution to maintaining law and order in our historic regions, and investigating neo-Nazi crimes against civilians.
I am confident that you will continue to uphold and cultivate the finest traditions of the veterans of the investigative bodies and honourably discharge your official duties.”
