The message reads, in part:

“Over the past years, the Military Commanders’ Club has gained significant influence, bringing together active and retired senior officers from the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of the Interior, the Federal Security Service, and other special agencies that defend the national interests of our Fatherland and its people.

It is gratifying to see that your vast professional and combat experience and sincere desire to serve the Fatherland are in demand in the most critical spheres of our country and society. Members of the club participate in major patriotic, educational, awareness-raising projects and programmes, and provide expert opinions and consultations on new legislative acts drafted in the State Duma and the Federation Council. In their fundamental works and studies, they focus on the most important issues of military science and geopolitics, as well as the functions of security services and law enforcement agencies, consistently defending and rationalising the historical truth while opposing any attempts to reconsider our country’s contribution to the Great Victory. In addition, I would like to emphasise that the Military Commanders’ Club cooperates with state and public organisations in supporting the participants and veterans of the special military operation.”
