Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to participants and guests of the Future Technologies Forum.
The message reads, in part:
“Your meetings, which invariably aim to achieve practical results, have rightfully earned great authority. Today, the Forum has once again brought together representatives of research teams and business circles, scientists, experts, and authors of promising developments. Per tradition, the participants will focus on essential, relevant topics related to strengthening the country’s technological sovereignty and integrating advanced design, technical, and management solutions into production.
I am certain that the current Forum, which is dedicated to new materials and chemistry, will demonstrate a high level of interest and cooperation, and will help to come up with specific initiatives as well as interregional and interstate projects that will definitely be in demand. It will serve to develop modern, innovative solutions in strategic sectors of the economy, energy, medicine, space programmes, and other science-intensive areas.
I wish you fruitful communication and implementation of your plans designed to strengthen Russia’s scientific and technological sovereignty and consolidate its leadership position in the world of breakthrough knowledge“.
